KiwiMR2 vs drvizard - Battle of the MR2's

Cosmetically speaking, which in your opinion is the better looking MR2? As a whole package, as is. Eg, no 'well, if this one had xxx mags, it's be better, so I'm voting for this...'

The sleek and stylish Toms kit:

Or the outrageous, aggressive Veilside:

Toms. Its subtle.

I dont think I'll even go that far with mine though on the exterior. Its more money that can be spent on tyres/engine.

I like elements of both, I dont like the Tom's rear wing, but I do like how the rest of it is quite smooth.
Obviously I kinda like the Veilside kit too, though it would be better if the nose wasnt so long.

Toms for daily driving sort of..

much more suttle, not so much look at me, goes with the car well.

Veilside for bling, defentially more show car like, also draws attention of theives too... far more look at me styles.

if i had to pick one, Probbaly toms for a car i drove daily, and veilside if i drove it on weekends ^_^.

but if i only drove it on weekends, shed require around 500hp :D.

I'd have to go with the Tom's kit. I've been more a fan of the more subtle bodykits. The Veilside kit has too many sticky out bits, too much flare for my liking.

What I don't like about the Tom's kit is the wing however. I've always liked the SW20 with a spoiler and not without one, and that sort of seems inbetween...

I don't like either, but then again, they are both on an MR2, so I'm not ever going to like them. 2 seaters are just are not for me...

If I had to pick, the subtle one looks better.

Toms by a small margin - sllek and understated, though the rear soiler is a bit small. Veilside front is a bit much and the spoiler is in the shopping trolley catagory - but top effort to both owners - they are very good looking cars

I like the simplicity of the Toms kit, but it is a little understated.

Why did I never see this post!!

To be honest there is in fact a 2nd part to the rear spoiler which I haven't fitted as I wanted it to be a little bit different 8)

So for the FULL Tom's rear it would have to look like this:

Image

And I also haven't fitted the spats at the front of the skirts as seen above....tried them but thought it looked better without :)

I do agree the front is very OEM looking, I'd be partial to selling the front and getting a different one.

Cheers
