Is this a ct20b actuator?

Postby Wildcard » Tue Mar 08, 2005 7:27 pm

I'm trying to determine if this is not a ct20b actuator, if it is [and I have no reason to doubt the seller] this means the Caldina actuator is very different to the ct20b one which I purchased.

FYI - The distance between the inlet and the outlet is about 13mm.

It looks like a CT20b actuator, but could be CT26 also. Has it got a silver sticker with a number on it?

The id of the nipple leading to the vsv on a ct20b actuator is larger than that of the ct26, If you want to compare it I've got a few ct26/ct20b actuators here, but yeah even though I havnt seen a Caldina turbo close up I'd doubt it's the same.

Hi there, no sticker....

Twolitre, ta I might compare next time I see you - is the pitch angle / length of the rod similar on the ct26/ct20b?

This therefore leads onto the next million dollar question, does anyone know of a Caldina actuator for sale or where I could procure something compatible?
