ST202, 3SGE Performance Specs

Postby StyToy » Sun Mar 13, 2005 10:08 pm

Can anyone out there please point me in the direction of the original performance specs for a mid 90's 3SGE (alloy sump). I was told they produced about 180hp, but was wondering on torque figures and max rpm.

Trying to work out what my speeds in the gears would be through the T50 and 4.7 diff running 15" 205 50 tires.

Cheers, Strapper

Thanks, big help, interesting that the rev limiter is 1500rpm above max power. Did they build it this bullet proof for any reason, cos at those figures it would be pointless to rev it any past 7500.

well i still get pretty decent power after peak just that if you hit rev limiter the whole car will slow down automaticlly. And it's a toyota engine  so it's robo cop in disguise 8)
