4afe and 4age wiring problems

Postby good ol stoners » Mon Mar 14, 2005 10:07 am

I've got a 93 ae101 levin use to have a 4afe auto in. blew the engines doing burnouts so dropped a silvertop in believe its from a 96 or higher.
t he wiring is rooted we have to different fuse boxes with half the plugs. the plugs for the engine loom do not fit the interior loom e.g dash lights, warning lights etc. if anyone can help me out with wiring diagrams or what ever it would be great
cheers

hey i changed over the wiring in my wagon, i got a 89 nz new corolla and it had a 1300 carb, i replaced it with a 4age, had to change the entire looms like you are, i found by testing everything that from the 85 corolla to the 89 nothing had really changed. so i connected colour to colour, with a few things left over that i would never use like power mirrors

i dont know if it would be the same in a levin but its worth a try to split open 2 of the same looms in your car say like the loom that runs to the boot and see if all the wires and thicknesses are the same

it a real b..t..h by the way
