Also sounds like vacuum leak. My Starlet did that when it spat out some of the inlet manifold gasket

sounds like you have a bad wire connector on the loom

basically measin the ecu is getting no feedback at to say it running so it kills the fuel pump

That maybe an old code that hasn't been cleared, disconnect the battery for about 1 min then reconnect and check the ECU code, if its still there then u have a problem, sorry i can't help don't know much about the electronic side of things.

Fixed!

The plate underneath the throttle body literally fell off so there was a massive vacuum leak there. All sorted now so can finally get these extra injectors to do there job!

peace!

I just fixed mine too, turned out to be blown gaskets gallor  (skimmed manifold face, replaces metal gasket between manifold and turbo, replaced gasket between turbo outlet and pipe flange)

Idles good too.

The things u learn by just wadding in with a socket set 8)

also, another way to check manifolds etc for leaks, get a can of ether and spray it rounds flanges, vacuum hoses etc, you'll be able to hear a change in engine noise if it finds a way into you intake...and remember try not inhale too much of the shit
