Theres alot more involved than just swapping the engine over.
The engine mount on the drivers side inner guard doesnt line up, it needs to be mved foward about 70mm ish. The AE82 box has bolt on inner CV's where the EE90 has normal circlip type so you will need driveshafts to suit the gearbox aswell.
I never got mine on the road but had it running and semi driveable using the EE90 box, the bottom two bellhousing bolts dont match the 4A block though and the clutch is too long.
And then theres little things like the throttle cable is too long etc.
If had was to convert another EE90 to anything I would use a 4EFTE.
The mounts are the same, stock gearbox will bolt up (but wont last too long) and its will be easier to get more power out of being turbo.
So unless you are prepared for a lot of work, I would use the 4E.
