well u build it yourself, or u have to get a m8 to if ur unable, using instructions found on the internet.
http://www.megasquirt.info/
u can order one thru there, or from Glensgarage.com
costs around $350 depending on exchange rates and takes around a month and a half or 2 to get here because of waiting lists.
if ur serious about getting one, i have one that i bought at xmas time (ordered in november) still in unopened box as i got a link ecu in the time that i was waiting for it to arrive, ill part with it for $300 as i paid $327 + postage and i havent opened it as i planned on reselling.

possibly do a little more research on megasquirt related sites rather than TS.. you wont get much info on here... sounds like u might be better off to buy a pre built unit and pay the likes of the garagedori tuning team to tune it for you and possibly install it.. GTT got mega mapping skills tho so expect to open the wallet.. id be happy to install it/help you out on it.. for a fee too.. .. what engine u putting it on? 4age? turbo? anyway do soem more research before you ask... how to build it...

MEGASQUIRT!
:)

Always wanted to see how one runs, glad that it's actually not a gimmick :D
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.

yea Ive bought 4 from that site now and all have been around the $220 -$230 mark exchange rate hasnt changed much for ages. Its easy to solder getting the stim( maybe borrowing one) may be usefull too. I just test them with a resistor box, power suply, signal generator and scope at uni

If you've got a credit card I can't say good enough things about www.diyautotune.com .

Buy it built up if you're not big on soldering :)
Else there's a bit of a cost savings in building it yourself... just take your time and read the docs.

pretty handy with a soldering iron, but was just curious if anyone had any here so I don't ahve to wait so long.

If I got a few would people be interested in getting a kit?(group buy?) Would that be cheaper?

Might have some *light* reading to do...
