sometimes they do squeal a bit, even when all new pads have been put in, afaik its the brake dust that causes it. Believe me its not as loud as when you hav no pads

Most cars with a completely worn pad usually have a little meat left on the other 3 pads so you have at least one wheel stopping properly.
