Postby 2fas4u » Wed Apr 27, 2005 9:14 pm

hi all, last question in regards to hooking up a monster tach to a 90'sw20, which is easier to hook up the sensor wire too, the neg of igntion coil or the pin out on the ecu? where exactly to i find each of the too. not as mechenically minded n talented as some of u, if u could point me to where i can find each pref with pics or diagrams, will be greatly appreciated. hooked under the bonnet and engine bay but dunno what to look for. cheers. :D

Neither.

On a SW20 that already has a tacho it is easier to pull out the instrument cluster and hook into the existing tacho feed.

If your going off the back of the dash cluster then it wont be a wire, but there are heaps of screws back there going into the back of the cluster itself. On mine I hooked onto the screw 'P' but it could be something different on an mr2, like N-
