changing to the lexus afm makes the comp read less air than is actually there, and raises the air flow "boost" cut. problem is, car then runs lean as it's fueling for less air than it's getting. replacing the injectors with the 550'c balances this out. the only gains from this is increase of boost cut a few psi and a larger afm body. the afm isn't the worst restriction in the intake path, so not really worth it just for that. if you can find another way around the boost cut, the injectors have still a lot of leeway in their duty cycle and how much fuel they can flow.
