Paying to cruise

Postby Urban-Cruiser » Sat May 14, 2005 1:12 pm

Just wondering if you would pay a gold coin donation to go on a cruise?

Homer: Why do you think your mum and I sleep in the same bed?
Bart: Because we are poor?
Homer: Exactly. And why are we poor? Because we have kids.

if the proceeds were going to a good cause then yes...

if it was just to line the pockets of the organiser then hell no.

Yes if it was a inhouse cruise, ie Toyspeed, and raising money for something that Toyspeed is doing.

If it was a sneaky attempt at raising funds and inviting everyman and their dog and not disclosing the fact where the funds are to be used then hell no.

I agree with Al. Money to be invested into the club, yes.
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.
