BZ-R or BZ-V Auto?

Postby BZ-G » Thu May 26, 2005 9:44 pm

What do you think.... boys and girls..

Would Japanese car dealers and importers change an auto BZ-V badging to BZ-R or and factory options to BZ-R so it looks better for selling and advertising?? Making the EPC correct.... (False)

Or

That it is true there are auto BZ-R's in Japan and NZ... and BZ-V is just another auto or manual AE111.... (True)

Confused... explaination please.... and EPC=?

Er besides isn't this poll just a matter of opinion, and very few people would actually know the truth?

Go have a look in the FAQ section, you will find the answer there.
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Reason for this poll is that people out there don't know the weight difference between BZ-G with BZ-R... :?

Now... another debate about BZ-R's come in auto or not... :?

A lot of discussion is in this other forum.... 8O

viewtopic.php?t=31889

Some articles show that BZ-R's do come in auto and some say BZ-V has been badged to imitate BZ-R... 8O

I have seen a BZR in auto for sale a couple of months ago so yes they do - i thought it was strange at first but that website showed me the way...

How do you know it wasn't a BZ-V with a BZ-R badge? ;)

When I get to work on Monday, I'll remotely take over an EPC machine from one of our Toyota customers and double check to make sure that the BZ-R only ever came out in manual ;)

Even then you won't know for sure....

Maybe we should track down someone who worked on the toyota assembly lines! Or the person who designed the car...

Oh, wait, they could be lying...

Damn conspiracy theorists, lol... car factories do random things sometimes, it's not a simple case of 500 engines 500 chassis' 500 transmissions.

This kinda seems pointless.

From what ive seen so far there were never any Auto BZ-R's although maybe there were but they were never catalogued? Or maybe some one added an auto after the factory/ new stickers.

Does anyone have any proof? Anyone have an auto BZ-R that they can get the model/code/chassis number off?

I use this site for comparison:

http://english.auto.vl.ru/catalog/toyota/

Although you probably cant take it as being 100% true, so far it seems to check out and it doesnt list any Auto BZ-R!!

That russian site is good to look over cars and compare them, but it isn't 100% accurate.

Its a forum - correct - so discuss - dont go thinking that you know everything!

You have no idea who you may be arguing with - Warrick knows his shit - I feel that it was a total waste of time you turning this topic into a poll anyway!

Which brings be to my original question - what $&#$% difference does it make to you neway! - its 20kgs!

Why should I... you're the one who been abusing and swearing.... I don't know you... why should I discuss it with you in PM... you will just consistantly be abusive... there's no need to be such anger...
