well, here's the mr2 about a month ago, major change from this picture is that the back window is in but the wheels are off and there's no struts holding things together, other than that it's pretty much exactly how it looks in the garage right now
Image

and here's the celica around the begining of the year, since then most of the front body panels have been removed, but it also hasn't changed much
Image

and thankfully the Supra has finally been taken, so the only other project in the driveway is my girlfriend's TA22 Celica, for which a passenger door is arriving next week, and then she'll be going in for a wof and hopefully hitting the road again :)

Here is a pic of my beast, taken at the AE-86 meet, looks abit worst than that now, just about completly stripped out, motor on stand ready for rebuild and new drivetrain semi ready to go in, still working on the body of it, next is a roll cage and then the motor and drive line can go in.

ae85
should be back on road before weekend, just had the near-to-death bluetop replaced with black top and given the engine bay a minor tidy up (deloomed, excess holes filled, painted)
Image
since pic have all panels back on, just radiator left to mount and some other minor stuff with wiring and engine

i thought i would join in the fun
here are a few pics of my ae86 project. Started out as a bit of a tidy up but now I am going all out.
pictures are as it once was, then at various stages of dissassembly, at the moment I havent got any full car pics of it after I got it back from my panel beater. Its just a shell with wheels, and a dash at the moment.
:D
i wont post up all the pics caus i am sure this thread is already big enough

The project part of this is the challenge of selling it and getting back to the toyota marque...
http://www.trademe.co.nz/structure/auct ... d=28939407

So what is next... hmmm you tell me, had an 88 fx-zi (overly modified considering the engine was crap) and now i want the slightly bigger brother ae92 fxgt, to put a 4agze in and do it all properly, for go not show, well maybe a little bit of show

Had big plans for the fiat when i got it but well, you know how it is with money, there is never enough. And I feel like a criminal keeping this car since I don't have a garage to put it in.
Current ride = suggestions welcome
Previous rides = 89 BFMR 4wd Sedan, 73 Fiat 124 Sport CC Coupe, 71 ke26 wagon, 1990 mr2, 1988 rolla hatch, and a cough cough.. sigma

I can't be without my car, even when i'm in the club I drive to the bar!

My AE86, Painted it metallic green with purple pearl just over a year ago (first pic) , but couldnt afford to maintain it (stone chips, scratches etc) so recently painted it in the cheapest possible colours - black and white!
Damn I miss that green  .
