First one relates to superstrut/lowering
Ive been in contact with pedders suspension and they have told me they can supply me lowering springs for my ae101 ss levin. If i was to do this i would want to make sure that my ss and shocks are in good condition.
What are they tell tail signs that the superstrut is on the way out, also what are the signs that the shocks are on there way out ?
Also is ther anyone in auckland you reccomend for doin suspension work.
2nd Wen i got my brakes replaced my alternator belt was also on the way out so that got replaced.
Now everytime i start the car when its cold i get this really horrible slapping sound coming from the right hand side of the engine (if looking into the engine bay, its on the left side) basically behind the right front.
Is this were the alternator belt is located ? , if not wat is here, it sounds like a belt sound. It stops after about 1 minute.
If this is a belt , how would i go about tightening up a belt?
3rd My levin is standard dual exhaust, is there any benefit to having 1 single side exhaust opposed to a dual side.
