Hmm, gota be new school, Old school is cool but the problems with everything $&#$% out, rust, hard to find parts, lack of things like p/s, efi and e/w sorta puts me off them

A would hardly call a 1993 levin new school anyway, its 12 years old now remember. Still pretty much in the mid range age wise.

But its got ok power so I'm happy

Even if it was classed as 'new school' there aren't many other toyota offerings around that time that really appeal to me either.

err I never said that it was old school or even near it. Just saying its 12 years old and hardly new school either.

maybe someone should define what years are what then????

But anyway as I initally stated not many of the newer toyotas interest me. Prefer mostly the older stuff but I dont have one at present.

As you'll see here kiddies the key words are not many.

can't beat the 'tightness' of a new school car, not everyone wants one thats been around the block so many times, new school also has the 'experience' of years of improvements over its old school mates :wink:

anyway, new school got my vote, i'd have an old school car as a project if i had the time, money and space, but not as a daily driver, like my creature comforts too much these days :lol:

my cars old skool but it doesnt have chrome bumpers and im glad it doesnt, the waimak could of caused the car alot of damage but the huge black plastic bumpers saved it!

No, to simplify my post : most ToySpeed members are too poor to actually know how good the new school cars are, so voting old school is their only option

Lets put it this way : if i offered any of you an Altezza or a KE30 for free, you'd take the Altezza without batting an eyelid
