Tein springs NZ distributor / seller

Postby Andy » Wed Jun 29, 2005 5:18 pm

Hi there,

Does anyone know who the official NZ distributor / shops for Tein spring? I am wanting to get a quote for a set of springs that I am interested in. Does anyone on the board have some deals for me?

Thanks
from Andy

Give Lee a call at Advanced Motorsports on the Shore, he took all the agencies with him when he left Advanced Imports & is the guy to deal with regarding anything Tein in NZ as he is the offical NZ agent/distributor, well that's what their Sales Manager said in January when he was out here & visited me.

Autolign has taken tein over now as the sole nz distributer , they aproached stocks but they declined so autolign took them up on it .
Advanced motorsports may be doin it but i wood guarantee u that autolign will do it cheaper 8)

Autolign are selling coilover kits only - they do not sell Tein springs seperately. I've just been on the phone to them.

Yep autolign are the Tein distributors now. We applied for dealer rights with Tein Japan who promptly pointed us at Autolign. We have the forms here but to date we've only dealt directly with the brand Manufacturers so we don't like having to pay the middle man simply because they 'exist'.

For the price there are plenty of other options available..?

Was talking to Autolign today, they do have NZ distribution rights. They do not have springs in stock yet, but they have a shipment on the water at the mo, and they will be getting shipments every 8 weeks for a while. I have just placed an order for some springs for my Avenir. 8 weeks away, but, meh, noone else does them.

What i meant was, no other spring manufacturer makes springs for my vehicle, and noone has Tein ones in stock to fit my car. I ordered them from Autolign because we deal with them thru work, so a full set is costing me $304 :D

Springs

Postby K2 » Mon Jan 09, 2006 8:30 am

The diameters are the same so they will fit but the ST205 is slightly heavier so probably won't lower much, I have an ST202 spring from another brand which will work well and make it quite low, about 45mm so give me a call if you still need them and we'll give you a good price.
