Amp and Sub wiring help!

Hey, I just bought a Rockford Fosgate P3001 Mono Amp. Being a mono amp I would've thought it would only have two holes (or whatever they're called) for the + and - speaker wire. The amp has 4 or them (2 + and 2 - ofcourse). Now my problem is which two do I put the wires in for the sub (Im just using a crappy 1200w Sony for the moment). Im currently running a 2 Channel Fusion amp bridged. So I had a read through the manual and it has a 2 speaker (im guessing for another model of amp) and a 1 speaker diagram. The 1 speaker diagram is as follows:

Is this the correct way to do it or should I hook it up on the two outer holes? Sorry if this sounds stupid I don't wanna go blowing things up. Cheers!

Use the holes on the outer, that way there is less chance of the wires coming into contact with each other and shorting out the amp.

ie + on the far left and - on the far right. The connectors are connected internally, there is just 2 sets to make wiring up multiple subs easier.

But this is a Mono amp so I thought you could only hook up one sub?

you can run a couple of subs off the amp as long as the resistance load is correct.

By looking at the specs below we can see that the rockford is 4 and 2 ohm loadable. if you have a sub and its a single voice coil 4ohm, then the amplifier will see the 4 ohm load. If you had 2 single voice coil subs then and you wired in series then the loading would be 2 ohms. If wired in series you would see 8 ohms.

If i had 4 8 ohm subwoofers - i could hook them all up to the 300/1 because the amplifier would still be seeing 2ohms.
