Well, found out I'm not getting my car back today. Problem with the front bumper now! All the rest is fitted, they just have to mod the bumper and make it fit. The rest will be nit picking.
But heres a pic I got.

Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Yea, the predict about another 3 - 4 working days, but I'm just gonna say a week to be on the safe side!
The front bumper wasn't wide enough, so they're gonna have to cut it in half and make it wider.

Theres a lesson to be learnt here:

DONT BUY KITS FROM TRADEME!!!!! EVER.

I have something in the works for that car :P

However, power comes AFTER making sure that the brakes and suspension are better ;)

Did I mention its a rare NZ new model? :D

You're thinking of the Bathurst model, which is not mine :P

Although, mine doesn't have power steering ;) And I like it like that!

Sincere apologies to you suckers on 56K :)

87 Hiace Super Custom Limited - bits and pieces done to it, slow work in progress, and high mileage daily driver :)

This is it before it had an unfortunate accident at foodtown and before it got it's new front bumper, and exhaust, and - well quite alot actually.

Image

82 Starlet GL Dirt Track Car - fully stripped out, caged, rewired, battery location, pipe exhaust, sick 4K (I think it's sick anyways ). Painted about 30 different colours 8O Even has the old number plates

Image

And this is my latest project :) Currently a 1987 Fiat Uno, 1 litre, 4 cylinder, carbed, 4 spd, 45 HP. Starting tomorrow it will be on the road to 150+ HP ATW, from a 1.3 litre, 4 cylinder, fuel injected, 5 spd, TURBO!!! Boosting about 14PSI

All I've done to this so far is the wheels and tyres, and the sounds (which aint worth mentioning!). Pics of it's progress will be provided at some point :)

Image

Please note - the vans plates are no longer valid, the starlet plates are no longer valid and the uno ones are no longer valid either - go personlised plates :D

crispy, your car looks pretty munched, looked as if someone took a blow from a big bad guy and got it's front teeth knocked out with a broken jaw :(

Nice conversion mate, but your interior is not only filthy, its beyond ugly! I'm not really keen on that red vinyl/everything else look aye. Maybe recovering it as well is on the cards?
