600x300x75 might be alright for someone with "450hp", but I wouldn't recommend going that big for much less than that...unless you're all about wank factor like most people these days....

that would probably be better
even an easier to get (and cheaper) 450x300x75 would be alright, although possibly still on the large side.

most seem to have 3" in/out, so just use a reducer to 2 or 2.5" i guess

do the in/outs have to be at the top or bottom or anything?

AFAIK the ideal set up is to have one at the top and one at the bottom, this makes the airflow spread more evenly through the core, whereas when both are at the top (or bottom) you tend to get more airflow through the tubes closest to the inlet/outlet (to what extent I'm not sure).

my (totally unbiased of course) suggestion for intercooler:

http://www.drivenperformance.co.nz/scri ... roduct=503

Re piping, Im using 2" from turbo to cooler, and 2.5" from cooler to T/B - I notived NO extra lag when installing this cooler setup and still on factory turbo.

We of course (un-ashmed self plug) have all the silicone you may need for this install: http://www.drivenperformance.co.nz/scri ... ategory=19

Clocking the comp housing is simple and striaght forward - you just need to tack mounting points on as the WG actuatory bracket needs to live in a new place (unless you are going external, in which case you can skip that part).

Good luck with it :-)

no its not, and no it doesnt. The one I have is an odd ball race radiators one I got 2nd hand some time ago.

Brand is largely irrelevant - its the design and quality of contruction that you should be concerned with regarding a cooler.
