UniRoyal Rainsport1 Tyres - Opinions

My ST205 is currently shod with 235/45 R17 Rainsport1s.

Does anyone else have experience/opinions of these? The previous owner says they are the quietest tyre on the car.

Wear rate seems to have been about 1mm in the last 6 months / 13,000 km

Anybody have an idea of the cost for a set of these and what a comparable tyre would be and cost?

yeah rainsport 1 is quite a nice tyre and not to bad to drive on as uniroyals are , and yes they are quite quiet , but the wear factor is normally a little excessive as of bein a soft compound tyre designed for european roads , autobahn etc not nz's crappy pothole infested things tht we sumhow call roads
But then comes the bad part .... the price , ur lookin at ne where in between 350 - 500 a tyre for 17's unless u know sumone who can do a real good deal
Otherwise as i always say , u can get the goodyear gsd3 , as rated the best tyre in the world and is better value cumin in at around 250 - 270 per tyre
