First Question

1) Do AE111 1997 Caribs come with S/S

2) How do I tell if mine has it.

The reason is I am buying some K Sport Adjustables and just want to check that i am right in saying it doesnt have it.

Any help would be great.

Unsure if they have it or not, but check none the less

First, do you have your stock wheels? 14" = No S/S, 15" = S/S
Second, Are your calipers single, or dual piston.
Thirdly, do you have "Superstrut" stickers on your car

, if you do, you know what that means! lol

nah, the caliper piston is a pretty easy way to tell, less you wanna get under your car, and if the strut connects to the hub assembly, and looks like a *G clamp* (goes down before it comes back up again), then you have S/S (correct me if im wrong, dosnt hurt to learn when your wrong!)

It came with 14inch steals doesnt have stickers obviously. Just had a look cant seam to find any. If someone could just confirm that this modle didnt come with it it would be great and thanks for your help Cozmo

Super strut I do believe has two lower arms on each side....More bushes to crap out and noises

can't fit 14" rims on super strut as Cozmo said, so that should give ya an answer

only ae101/ae111 levins and truenos and st20# celicas and maybe currens had S/S
caribs did not

yes, i can tell from the K at the end it has a 3sfe engine, therefor will not have s/s as s/s is only for sporty models :wink:

i was driving it round at the weekend and man it feels floaty compared to mine... but mind you mines bumpy and low with zero bodyroll!
