Ok so i was using my air conditioning today and discovered that with the amount that petrol costs you would have to be bloody rich to use it 8O

Yeah I still use mine but I am in a fortunate position with a good paying job, hell I'd have to be to take on two projects at the same time 8) :lol: :lol:

Its all good in saying that but what happen's if your
park a set of light's around town and there's no breeze to speak of
opening the window will do jack.. I took the air con out of the Starlet but some day's I wish I had it..

I didnt find it used that much more coming from chch to dunedin last summer . Had to turn it off when went to pass tho :lol:

Well my A/C didn't work so I cut the belt. Does that answer the question?

Corollas had it in 1976, dunno about 1972 though.

Id be suprised if a stock K motor could spin an A/C Pump :lol:

Aircon only makes my car slower so it only gets used if it's very, very hot.

If my car didnt have AC in summer, id go crazy. Its a big buying point for me if im looking. :) All tho i hardly use it in winter.

Has anyone actually found out how much extra petrol it uses per km or somthing like that??? :?:

My auto kp61 had aircon shit me, it hardly moved when I turned it on. Its now in the bin
