I'm after low down/mid range rather than all out top end power - it is a road car after all I'll be getting the head gas flowed and a tubular exhaust manifold made up and *probably* running around 18 - 20psi boost max

Haha, come on, everybody has the right to do anything to their car, let it be good or bad.
ae-86_lad wrote:that seems like a pretty hardout roadcar lol runnign 20psi i would have thought you wuold be looking at big power. and why get your motor rebuilt by mr rogers if its only a road car..
and yet u only want low down/mid range ... seems strange..

Just because you're having an engine rebuilt, doesn't mean it has to run big bhp. It's all about efficiency. This is why the head is being properly flowed and a suitable turbo fitted. That way I can get the same sort of power levels you'd expect for high boost but putting less strain on the motorIt's not always about cranking the boost up high
