Franklin cams?

May need to measure clearances in the shims and/or reshim

Good cam choice as well

I'm running HKS 256 degree cams in my smallport with no other mods to the valve train. with the HKS ones you can go up to 272 degrees without doing anything to the valve train.
If you're going to use regrounded cams I'd find out what the lift is once they have been reground. then find someone who knows what they are talking about, to find out what if anything else will be needed to be done to your valve train.

Sounds good, want to have them ground to 8.3 mm lift (same as hks 264's)

My reground cams (from Kelford) in my bluetop are 222 degrees at 0.50" lift, and 0.327" cam lift... which I think is about the specs you are looking at.
The only thing that is new is some little caps to put on the top of the valve stems (Kelford supplied these) that make up for the ground/reduced base circle on the cams.
Very simple, no computer/injector/etc. changes needed.
