Know someone with a slide hammer
Not really too hard, but you may have issues getting the nut off the CV if its on really tight. May also have issues getting the CV back onto the shaft in some cases as those clips can be a right c*nt.
Basically, remove wheel, CV nut, lower ball joint (by the nut on the joint or the 3ish bolts underneath holding the ball joint on the lower arm), swing the hub out of the way, cut the boot off, bash with a hammer/slide hammer.
