Seriously all I did to that turbo was nick the wastegate flap circlip, it was working perfectly within stock parameters on my car with stock cat/downpipe and the 80mm exhaust of doom.anthony - I have actually heard of similar problems on Evo's now that you mention it, where a good downpipe can cause overboosting, but the wastegate port of a TD05 is quite a bit smaller than the combined ones on a ct20b I'd think. It's a little reassuring to hear that your XS power pipe isn't causing overboost, although that could just be because your turbo is so crap and you need to by mine back
Maybe, but if I can get it to work it'll be a zero lag turbo with no pesky ceramic wheel and >350hp
