JVC Whats Peoples Feelings???

Postby AE101_REAR_DRIVE » Thu Oct 06, 2005 10:05 am

Have brought a some JVC gear and was wondering what is the general feelings towards them.

I have a 50x4 MP3/WMA/CDR with 256 color display with download feature to get your own images on it. 6 Band eq with high level output control. 4 Pre outs a sub out and for some reason the surround lights up and is adjustable via the headunit.

Has any one had any nightmare story's with either there head unit or speakers/amps/subs??

I've got the 2nd-top cd/mp3 player from a couple years back. It's good when it's going, but I think the right channel may be stuffed as it flakes out from time to time.

By working my ass off at mcdonalds, kfc, Burger king and Subway and being on the dole the dpb on the sickness benefitt and im a solo mum with 6 kidds who work in an illegal childrens labour camp and im an illegal overstayer from slovinia with a rich suger daddy plus im a pimp in seven different countrys oh did I mention a drug dealer.

The simple answer im a direct importer specializing in taxi replacments for cab companys in christchurch e.g Camry's.
Have been now for about 3 years started when i was 18 sell around 30 cabs a year and make anywhere from 2 - 4 thousand off each sale after landing and certing.

Now that I have some money saved away i thought it wuld be a good idea to make my self a car not buy something unoriginal like a skyline or supra. Since i can import any part i want from any wrecking yard i want in Japan it makes my life so much more easier.

Now since I am making my own car i thought it would be good to get some audio to go with it instead of just hearing the engine all the time.

Any more questions???

I've got a JVC KD-SH99 (JVC's first MP3 headunit), and I've been quite happy with it driving the stock front speakers in my AE101 Levin GTZ over the stock wiring (rears are wired up but the speaker rubbers have perished)

Nice, clean bass considering the speakers (e.g. Portishead's Wandering Star sounds good)

Now, to get my A into G and install the Infinity Components in the front...
