i got a td05, but the exhaust wheel is JUST touching the housing.. enough to hear is scraping when turning it.. can i just leave it and let it wear down or what.

exhaust housings cracked so id say its shifted slightly over time. ill grind it out anyway and see what happens. turbos are cheap as anyway so doesnt matter if it fuks out.

Yes, but isnt there the possibility of:
Your engine oil getting metal in it, and circulating it through the engine?
or
Bits of turbine blade entering the intake/intercooler/engine/etc, if the turbo has a catastrophic failure?

sorted now anyway , dude before me had taken housing off and not put it back on straight.
