yeh... heat is the answer really. its quite a common problem really.. sumtimes they are easy, just slide off. other times they r difficult. i did a rebuild on an rb20det last week and i had to get the biach glowing red hot and have 2 big crobars in behind the pulley with 2 big guys pulling with all their weight on them and finally it slid of with much blood/sweat lost from all partys involved. by far the hardest iv ever had to take off. ur best bet is to use 2 small levers of some kind and try take it off evenly.
