My best for the day was 15.13 @ 152.5kph. I thought I'd do heaps better since that's about the same time I got when racing the car absolutely stockers when I first got it.

Track was slippery as hell. I was spinning the wheels almost all the way through the 60ft... :?

Next time I'm out there I'll bring along some semi's or full slicks and see what she does!!

Best recorded time: 15.7sec, not to bad seeing that I started the day with a very slippery 17.8!!! (Third car on the track in the morining = no grip! :( )

Would have got a faster time later in the day during the grudge racing as the track was getting better, but someone didn't bring enough timeslips to last the entire day! :?

Did anyone get any picks of my car? :D

I had a really mint day watching, it would have been alot better if I could have raced but we have only had the new gearbox in a couple of months and the WRC ct20b in for a week, I didnt really want a breakage 1000kms from home. Next time maybe with some DOT hoosiers and a line locker.

Nuty|Mike's last run was a record breaker.

58 seconds @ 5.4kph :D
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Have removed the bickering to keep this thread somewhat on track for which it was intended for. Was a great days racing, big ups to everyone that made it out on the track. Can someone who knows the track explain why it is so slippery?

One thing I noticed was half the people lining up had no clue what-so-ever how to stage
Did they have a drivers briefing and explain how the lights and staging senors work?

Well it was raining the night before, and possibly in the morning too.
As well as the fact that it was overcast I suppose.
I mean Im sure it would be a little less slippery if it had been 20 degrees with blue skies for the past 2 weeks.

There was no briefing or anything, it did get annoying watching half of the people try and stage while the previous race was still going......

Track got better as the day got older, with some decent hot weather and a prepped track possibly at the next one it will be more worth the 600km drive to get there.

Sorry? What was that? I didn't hear you over the sound of your car not being able get into gear properly because of a "buggered bearing" in the clutch ;)

You said you have the CT26, is it out of a Supra or a MR2?
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.

For someone that had a big cry about his car getting a bit banged up awhile ago... and not even game enough to put his own car down to strip... you've got alot of nerve commenting on other peoples efforts and failures.
