I have to admit, this is an f'ing cool program... and not too badly off for the 1/4 and 0-100(I had a go last night and got within 0.5 sec for both, which given I've never done it before isn't too bad).

Hrmmm mine are all pretty accurate... that is indeed quite amazing! Right down to even the fuel consumption isn't too far off (AKL to Taupo it used 32L, which is about 13L/100Km)

There you have it, the 3sgte aw11 is the ultimate car 8O

Although I must say I doubt it would do a 12.3 1/4 mile, but if it did I'd be so happy I'd probably cream my pants.

in hindsight the engine HP figure I gave might have been a bit high, if drivetrain loss is 15% then I'd guestimate power should be more like 280hp

also the wild guestimate on the torque might be way off also

Just wondered if you could re-run mine with the following stats.
Basically I'm looking at the SC that Blitz do, and wondered what it would do to the stats.

Car title/user name:SC RunX barryogen/dave.net.nz
(Engine info)
Displacement: 1795cc
Engine Location: Front
Type: SC
(at flywheel)Horsepower@RPM 276hp@7800rpm
(at flywheel)Ft-lbs of torque@RPM 219ft-lbs @ 6800rpm
Compression ratio eg. 11.5:1
Redline RPM: eg. 8,700rpm

(drivetrain info)
Gears: 6 speed
Manual/Auto: MT
Gear ratios
1: 3.17
2: 2.05
3: 1.48
4: 1.17
5: 0.92
6: 0.82
Final drive ratio:4.53
Driving wheels: Front

(Chassis and body info)
Car weight in kgs: 1230kgs.
front/rear weight distribution: 55/45
Wheelbase in cms: eg. 260cm.
Tire size: 205/50 R16
Coefficient of drag: .3XX
Overall height in cms: 141cm
Overall width in cms: 170cm
Ground clearance in cms: 10cm.

Drag coefficient is a guestimate, the reast was gleamed from the sites provied, or google.

Compression ratio 9.4:1
Redline RPM: 7,700rpm

(drivetrain info)
Gears: 5 speed
Manual/Auto: manual
Gear ratios (below)
1: 3.587
2: 2.022
3: 1.384
4: 1.000

(Chassis and body info)
Car weight in kgs: 990kgs
front/rear weight distribution: 56:44

Car has been dyno'd and taken down the quater a couple of times so will be interesting to see how it compares.

As I would have thought the Alfa is fairly well represented in the handling type tests... I'd say power would let it down around the 'ring.

As for the quarter.... how do I get a 15.04 in real life... my best is a 16.1 @ 139km/h, so I think I best work on my technique

Top speed isn't too far off either... I've seen a radar verified smidgeon over 200km/h in my car....

Just on JT's stats there. (If it's a real 86 then use the t50 ratios)...

T50 Ratios are this
3.587
2.022
1.384
1.000
0.861

K50 are
3.789
2.220
1.435
1.000
0.865
'86 AE85.5 Levin

I don't claim to know everything... That doesn't mean it isn't true....

Have copied the driveline ratios from someone elses post who appears to have a gearbox from either blacktop or silvertop 4AGE. Engine has been mildly modified, but I've left the power figures as standard.

I can't find anywhere accurate on the net that has the weight distribution, height, length etc for a NZ New AE82, so I've used the details from an AE86 as its roughly the same size / shape / weight as mine (although the 82s are supposed to be lighter than the 86s). If anyone is able to correct these details, PLEASE feel free :)

Have you weighed your car or had it on the dyno? With your power to weight ratio as listed you should have a higher trap speed than that which could indicate one or both of those two is a little off.

I would imagine that we are listing the car weight, and not adding the driver to it... me, I'd kill my cars performance, I add 134Kgs to my car... not to mention if it had a full tank of gas(another ~50kgs)
