Hi all.
I don't know how many people would be interested, but I'm looking at the possibility of purchasing Dwyer Magnehelic Differential Pressure Guages direct fro Dwyer Instrumets (www.dwyer-inst.com).
With the current exchange rates it's cheaper to buy them from the US providing I can get at least 3 or more...
These are the two main products I'm looking at...

But would order anything they make if wanted...
Basically the Magnehelic is an incredibly sensitive guage for measuring pressure. The magnehelic has been used a bit by the Autospeed authors to determine all sorts of things...
High pressure points for siting cold air intakes, vents etc
Intake restrictions,
Measuring pressure differentials across heat exchangers.
Here's a few articles where they've used them in testing (or a simliar device).

http://autospeed.drive.com.au/cms/A_0987/article.html (This is actually about using a pressure switch to determine if the filter is particularly dirty and requires cleaning... But you could set up a guage to measure the actual "dirtiness".)
I guess the Magnehelic is really an R&D type tool. But I figure there may be some interest in them.
If anyone is interested in getting one then leave a post here.
I'd probably need at least one other buyer as I'm looking at getting two guages. And there is no rush. I won't be ordering till the new year as I'm going away soon and won't be back till after xmas.
