Which is where the GTT lets the team down... Its reliance on 98 octane would be a PITA, as it isnt available in a lot of small towns.
I dare say that you could run it on 96 without a hellova lot of drawback on an as-required basis.
I ran my GT4 on 96 briefly and it didn't complain very much at all, that was with an effectively empty tak, put $5 in it and then drove to a 98 octane stn.
Car didnt even hiccup for the trip, though. Expect with smooth open road driving you wouldn't notice it much.
