What should I do with this stuff?

Oh and pyro ages ago you said I should get the Rockford Fosgate P112S4.

Do you think I should get that or is there a better one I could get for <$200?

Is that from pi, u reckon i should get that?

Would that go alright with my Kicker amp 150WRMS or would that underpower it too much?

Hmmm its a bit on the under powered side, maybe look for something with a smaller rms wattage.

Ok I have decided to get this one Image

at 150WRMS it matches the amp so its all good.
If you reckon theres a better one out there tell me please (because I don't know alot) but this is my final choice unless there is better.

Cheers man

With subs like that i dont think it would matter much what kind of box they were in. If your more serious about sound quality then you would look into it. For a bit of doof doof its aiiit though  8)

A DD 1010 or 1012 maybe?

And the amp should supply more than what the sub can take for the peaks in music etc. But thats not too much of a problem, i wouldnt worry about matching the power.

In my case i have 1000Wrms through a 200W sub and 280wrms through each of my 80Wrms front speakers

Less isnt usually good though, if your amps more powerful there isnt a problem (Y).

New amp and sub maybe?
There are always good second hand items for sale, and if you just want a bit of bass im sure thats the best way to go. My entire setup is pretty much made of second hand things    . Only my amps i bought new.

How would I mount these so I can hear them good because the factory space is too low.

They arn't co-axel they are components afik.

So the woofer can be low in the factory position as long as the tweeter is at a good height, like your dash or so height. A good place for tweeters is your door sails or somewhere on your actual dash. That will lift the soundstage and im sure you will be happy.

You can get tricky and do things with the phase of the speakers to lift the soundstage more but no need to worry about that!

Yes they're Components. Yeah the sub is in the boot its just the factory position for the door speakers is way too low. I was just wondering if there was anything I could do to mount the speakers higher and covered because its a bit weird having speakers "naked" on the dash.

Not the speakers just the tweeters, the little speakers for the high frequencies. I hid them behind the airvents in my car and they worked real well there.

The 6.5" drivers will be fine in the factory position down low.
