for thoes not making the trip south for the leves track day,

the Canterbury Car Club is holding a "novice motorkhana" on the 10th of december.

this event is an extra event outside the CCC championship and is aimed at getting new comers interested.

labled as a "novice" event to get people who dont want to make a fool of them selves to come down anyway.

CCC Novice MotorKhana

saturday 10th december
4:30 pm
$10 entry fee

located in the paddock beside Ruapuna (acess via leggits road)
car must have WOF, REG and road tires ONLY.
drivers must have common sence.

p.s. 4:30 is arrival time, start time will be a little later, please be on time :)

Is i possible to make it to timaru and back before 4:30 id love to entre the Mr2 in a motorkharna.

to be fair if you can get it there and it runs we'll probaly let you run it unless is falling apart and completly unsafe.

yea fully depends on what time you leave timmers.
i dont know what the order of the day down there

hrm, might give it a go. Its not falling apart or anything, little bit of rust, but not structual. Its just been dereged for many years, thats all.

Oh, and it has no motor in it at the mo. So depending on how enthusiastic I get in next week or so, depends on if I make it.

i got beaten by the 83 corona in one if these...
must have been the huge downforce from the mr2 wing (see some mr2 parts can be useful)

Not to mention being beaten by a 1967 Hillman Imp, powered by an 875 cc engine!! :-D (I beat Al in his 2 also, hehhe) ((Infact, I beat ALL RWDs that day, and most of the Fwds too)) :-D :-D

righto too much beating of me has been going on...
everyone who has ever beaten me (especially those with sub 1000cc engines) should come to the sealed motorkhana on 18 dec
the moke will kill u all (if it goes)

but back on topic... i wont be at this one cos i'll be at levels making lots of smoke and wearing out 8 tyres
