Ok, Car is home now..

Damage Report:

* Stereo was literally ripped from the dash - that's ok, i have a spare dash/fxgt - got_parts?
* Ignition has been pulled with a slide-hammer - Screw driver starts for teh_win
* Mother $&#$% drove the car into a curb at high speed, front right mag is dented quite severely, right shock is blown and the alignment is completely $&#$%
* Shift light isn't working anymore

Outside of that, it's all good, they've ripped a shitload of fuses from the box.. So maybe when I plug them all back in things may start working proper.

All in all it's all g, mother $&#$% were drinking Steinlager in my car!

Time for a beer and a cool out - West Auckland is one hot place!!!

Oh yeah, they took my grill - it's ok! I have another one! and I just noticed the passengers door is a bit $&#$% at the bottom, the door must've been open and the driver reversed into something, kinda crippling the corner of the door~

That's ok, I have 2 spare passenger doors anyways.

I do have a pretty new 5.1mp Sony Cybershot that I suppose I could snap a few shots from~

I'll do it tomorrow and post some pics up~

It's too nice sitting inside, at my pc, drinking beers to do it right now.

Turn it all the way to the right and see if it illuminates.

Yeah I know man, was my favourite too, I don't think they stole it, it was a bit lose - the clips were broken. I think when they SMACKED the curb at high speed it just feel out. I have a rude AE82 FXGT grill now, it's nowhere near as retro :(

Interesting you say that brother, first thing I did was turn it all the way to the right, and it does indeed illuminate! So, what does that mean?!

Today was just too damn hot. I sat in traffic for a wee while after work and when I got home, all I could think about was stripping down to the bare minimum and cracking a beer.

Hopefully, depending on motivational levels( i've now run out of beer, for now :) ) i'll have some pics up tomorrow night for y'all.

Hahaha, wtf
It'll rev out bro, but it'll die bloody quickly if you rev it out to those levels  I think with that head you'll be looking more between 7500 and 8000 as your (sensible) rpm limit.

Well you can set it to iluminate at what ever rpm you want, its a bit of trial and error, i never got around to marking it.

If its just past vertical, a touch to the left it will be at about 7k rpm i think. Just have a play around and you will figure out where to have it soon enough. And just mark that spot with a bit of twink or something

Yeah shame about that grill, i noticed it only had 2 or 3 clips holding it in too, nothing beats the old school grill with the GT badge.

If i see it around west ill be sure to grab it for you lol!"

Lanius youve got a nice as car man! The NZ new GT's just have so much class!! Kinda makes me wish i kept mine

hahaha. Did you ever got driving with Craig when he had the head? ok, 8.5k rpm was a bit of a lie~ but he definitely went past 8k everytime I was in it~

But yeah, Sensible is the word of the day my friend :) BIAR~

I was flatting with him when he had that car bro, of course I went driving with him. I drove the car myself quite a few times  I'd say 8k should be the absolute maximum you want to rev to. Those engines were never designed to rev that high. Fitting a worked head (even one as good as Craigs) doesn't change the fact that the internals won't handle those revs for long. Besides, its not just about revving high, its about where your torque and power lies ... you know this Mr Helious ;)
