Who wants to get dirty hands :D

Postby Ako » Thu Dec 01, 2005 1:36 pm

Gonna bung an engine into my wee car this weekend / friday night, I'll be provding some beers etc if anyone feels like coming round to give me a hand. Even if you don't know a damn thing about anything mechanical, its always a good excuse to stand round and learn something or just take advantage of the free stuff

Give me a yell if you want my address, Al knows where I live now as well (its just by maccas in hornby).

Meh, I dont care if people find out where I live, good luck trying to pinch anything off us! Its 5/449 main south road (just across the road from the big park), we're up a looooong driveway so park on the road unless you want some fcked off neighbours here!

I dont THINK I'll need anything. If you feel like bringing random tools itll probly be handy, if anyone has a creeper it'd be REALLY handy (to shift the motor round on) but otherwise should be sorted. Anytime after about half six is sweet, cheers heaps to anyone who shows. Upshot of it all is, I'm aiming to be running by next friday, got to show Al that pink mr2's go faster

Hahaha, I have this mental picture of a crowd of randoms standing around watching 3 people actually working on the car!

I'd offer mechanical help, but it sounds like you've got plenty already. :)
