16v/20v 4age parts

hey i did a quick search with out any luck
will a set of 20v black top pistons and rods fit my 16v redtop big port?
i think the journal sizes are the same but im not sure about the pistons
do they have 5 indents for the valves?

They will fit into the block no problem, but may have issues with the valves, i'm not sure.

The will fit. However you dont want either. The blacktop rods are weak. The blacktop pistons have three cutouts for the inlet valves that wont match up to the two inlet valves on your engine. It wont interfer with valve action, however wont promote a clean flame propogation. IE lower HP.

what about 20v silvertop rods??

yes they will be fine
id go silvertop rods and a TRD 0.5mm headgasket.
actualy id try and find a smallport

does anyone have a set of 20v silver top rods laying about collecting dust??
ive located a set of smallport 16v pistons
whats a trd head gasket worth?

20v rods ask Matt Dunn, TRD head gasket retail for $150-175 depending where you get it from.

Thought that was too good to be true cause they go up and down as the exchange rate changes.
