Are AE101 Superstrut springs the same as AE111 Superstrut springs?

I believe they are similar. Apparently AE101 TRD springs can also fit AE111 so i'd guess so.

The rear springs must be different because the King springs I bought from a AE101 superstrut don't fit in my AE111 BZ-R

They definitely don't fit. The part number is: King spring KTRL-52 SL and my car is a 97 BZ-R Superstrut.

Can anyone else confirm from experience that AE101 Superstrut rear springs = AE111 BZ-R rear springs?

Maybe a BZ-R has a different rear superstrut shocks etc than a pre facelift BZ-G etc? I don't know.... theses springs are for a AE101 superstrut etc so....WTF is going on!

Maybe you have them round the wrong way.

The only reason why they wouldn't fit is if they are the wrong springs or you have a BZ-R that has totally different rear struts than the other 99.9% of them out there.

Ring 'Stocks' with the part number and get them to check it out.

My money is that you have been given the wrong springs. Do they have that part no actually imprinted on the springs, or just on the box?? Can you not compare the diameters of the Kings with your standard ones? That should give you a general idea

You say the rears are KTRL-52SL's right? According to http://www.kingsprings.com.au/kings_mas ... alogue.pdf those springs are for an AE82 and AE92, go and have a look for yourself. Doesnt say anything about fitting AE101

Yes I think you are right aesc, I've been sold the wrong rear springs but what seems odd is the part number for the news ones which were sent to me over night is KKRL-04 which according to that Catalogue are for a Kia Mentor. They fit in my car well BTW.

This all seems odd though.

I'm going to contact the trader that sold me the springs to start with.

Also where is AE111/AE101 on that catalogue anyway?
