Some videos of the drifting can be found here...

The dates on the folders are the dates I received them, not the dates of the events.

Hmm 4wd full stripped race car on full slicks vs 2wd street car on 7psi with full interior hardly a fair call fella :?

and ciruit aint my thing i dont claim to be a good circuit driver i know im not, the car is built for straight line speed (when we wind some boost into it) but hey at least i was out their  didnt see any other show cars out thier

Now lets review
fastest 2wd 1/4 mile toyota- toyota corolla(car number 50) 19.35sec. 8O
fastest 2wd circuit honda- honda civic (car number 45)pretty standard 1600cc daily driven street car with full interior -1.23.83  (only 2 seconds behind the starlet race car)

stop making comparisons with race cars to road cars
Current: 5 x ae85's 2 x ae86's, 12a b1600 ute, ek9 type r civic, tube frame drag body.

no, fastest 2wd Toyota(non race car) 15.73, AE85s/c (formally 4DRIFT).
i wouldn't class the Starlet as a prepped racecar, the only thing that is different to the road version is the cage and the Khumos, everything else is standard, i should know, i helped Grant put it together.

why not, most of the boy racers that buy stuff of you have more spent on the engine and suspension than club cars, so in theory they should be as fast, besides, i wasn't the Honda loving tosser that made original "even though he was getting pushed round half the cource he still beat all the toyotas comfortably " statement on NZHondas

Ha ha ha fangsport what was in the Starlet (engine wise) ..

I don't mind my Honda's (have an Accord Wagon) but it seem's to be the people that drive Honda's that I can't stand they just seem to think they so much better then everybody else and talk more shit then anyone aswell.. And what's with this "didn't see any other Show Car on the Track?? From the pic's I have seen I didn't see ANY Show Car's on the Track

Toyota owners still have the same problem too... look around.

Personally I like most cars, I have preferences, at the moment it is Toyotas, but in the past it has been from Chevs to Toyotas, to Mitsi's, Hondas, Subarus, and now I'm back to Toyotas...

My best run has been with Toyotas btw, although I have usually driven them really hard, and sold them shagged.

i tired 4age that isn't running properly, standard T-50 standard diff struts springs brakes etc. it does have TRD rear shocks though (that's worth 40 seconds a lap i guess  )

it was a weak as piss comeback for the fact that his showpony was on the track and not in the carpark. ENDRICE has been in every boyracer mag in the country and has won awards for it's add-ons, bolt-ons and strap-ons!!!

that's where he is SOOOO wrong, the best show car that was on the track was Nick Lei's Sylvia. not only is it a piece of work, he gets some insane angles coming out of corners and there is documented proof of it's attendance at car shows. apart from the exterior that car is all go, and all the fancy suspension mods are used for something other than 1/4 mile at a time.

Cheers Fang, exactly what I was thinking too. Even my car has been in car shows and it was racing in Timaru but I wouldn't exactly call it a show car.
Full respect to Nick tho who has one of the most expensive and extensively worked cars you'll see around the streets and he still throws it around the corners sideways like he doesn't care.

Oh and the fastest 2WD cars there didn't enter into the drags anyway. Maybe best not to give reasons why cos some people may get offended but I'm sure a 500hp silvia running on 255s can better a 14.23 quarter.

hey i love toyota's ive had 3 kp60's and am looking for an ae85 at the mo for a hack

im not here to have a go at toyota owners im just trying to compare apples with apples

and each to their own,

my cup of tea is straight line speed but also having a street driven car that can take passengers, others is drifting and others is track speed

as i said each to their own
