n00b headunit help

Postby Magua » Mon Dec 26, 2005 12:18 pm

I recently bought a 91 gtr celica and I'm wanting to add my headunit from my previous car. Thing is I have no idea as to how to go about doing so. In my previous two cars I just literally pulled them out. Looks like I might have to remove the console around the headunit?

just undo the gear nob and lift the surrounding off, undo the 2 screws below the ash tray and pull that surround off and there ya have ya 4 or so screws holding the head unit in

DO however make sure when u pop the top part off, use a flat headscrewdriver, otherwise you will snap the dodackies, then it wont stay in.
