WTD: Soarer Pics

Postby jc25t » Thu Dec 29, 2005 6:03 am

Hey Everyone,

I'm currently looking into the best car to do a proper audio install in. I use to own a V8 soarer and really liked it, so i'm looking into the possibility of getting another one (or a TT) and using that to try and get the best out of the nice gear i have now purchased.

I started a thread below so see how i could install the subs but now i'm looking for more pics to see if it is indeed suitable.

http://forums.nzicemag.co.nz/viewtopic.php?t=7241

So does anyone have any pics of the following in a soarer:

1. Both doors with the door skins off
2. The rest of the boot including the spare tyre enclosure without the carpet etc
3. The kick panels with and without the 'covers'

Also i have a few questions regarding the fuel tank. If i have to, ill get a new fuel tank made up which isn't as high so it will allow me to put a sub enclosure above it with the subs on the parcel tray. Does anybody have ideas of the cost of this, and does anybody have any other ideas regarding the install?

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me.

I thought about that but what are the chances of him pulling off his door skins for no beers

I thought i'd ask incase someone already has them cos i know i've read a thread somewhere about someone getting them off without damaging anything..

just ask Darryn.. i'm sure that he has to open up his doors for something.. it wouldn't take him that long to open up both sides and take detailed photographs of the door panels, the door trims and the boot and rear parcel tray (you hearing this Darryn  ) from all types of angles for you..

he could make a day of it :D
