Trust me, we're watching TM (and TM have a list of everything) and all the papers - but get the strong feeling that these guys won't be that stupid. Cheers for the eye out though from everyone, its much appreciated.

security there in about 5 minutes???? it doesn't get much better than that unless you've got someone on premises full time. from the sounds of it everything was done right, these bastards just planned well and knew what they were doing.

i don't really understand why people seem to think its funny to point out mistakes that might have been made and how better to do things next time. this would be a major blow to a small business. just happy to hear you've got insurance but i've still got my fingers crossed that these scum get caught.

i'll be keeping an eye out but they're not the sort of parts i generally look out for, way out of my league car wise.

cheers
Matt

They had been in the shop before - some things REALLY don't stand out at first glance when you come in, they knew where stuff was..

Dude you already asked that question.
Unless you've got something constructive to say, how about leaving ako to sort things out. I'm sure he's got enough on his plate as it is!

Sorry to hear dude. I wish there was something i could do to help

yea sounds like they had it all pretty well planned out. thats a lot of stuff to take in that short amount of time. wouldn't imagine someone that organised would sell it somewhere so obvious such as the paper or trademe.
but if it isn't getting sold where else would it go? onto their own car? unless they sell it privately to their mates? or send it overseas or something?

sorry for the rambling...too much alcohol still in my system. hope they get caught anyway.

Cheers for the backup team, knew someone else would step in there

As for where its all going to go - we're picking the blow off valves, wastegates etc will be sold off over time (untraceable), some things will dissappear into the cars of some bastards with no concience for why their turbo/whatever cost $500 from hemi at the pub, rest of it will probably be dumped in a river or something.
