20v headers to 16v

I heard that this isn't very hard at all to do and only requires an extra couple of holes to be drilled?

Unfortunately I'm not the most mechanically minded when it actually comes to doing things and was wondering where would be the best place in welly to get this done, or is there anyone out there keen for a perky.

How to do it has been covered lots, but I dont think where to go to get the 20v's modded in wellington has been...which is really the question being asked.
really, if no one on here will help, and oyou dont have any friends who can simply elongate afew holes, than just go to your local friendly mechanic with instructions on what needs doing (as has been covered in forum before). by the sounds of it you may need them to fit anyway?

Sorry I did search, but as is the norm with most of these forums databases, the search returns a whole lot of crap, some related.

So is their a site, or some diagrams that show exactly what needs to be done?

what needs doing is the two outer bolt holes on the 20v extractors need elongating to line up witht the 16v block.
If you are able, simply take off your existing exhaust manifold, trace the exhaust and bolt holes, hence making a gasket, compare to the 20v and slot outer holes to match. Use bigger washes on the nuts if possible when installing.

not quite it, but it has a picture of the opposite- a 16v header being modded for a 20v- shows them lengthening the bolt tabs.

And rather than making a gasket, pop down to supercheap or Repco as the gaskets at supercheap are about $2.50
