Whats the best 4 inch speakers for $200?

Postby cespenar » Sat Jan 21, 2006 10:15 am

I'm just installing some new sounds in my Supra, and wanted to use the factory mounts for some front speakers (mainly because I'm lazy) so was wondering if anyone knows the best to get for $200..and where to get them in Christchurch or Hamilton...I've tried Paul's audio and asked for some Focal 4" coaxials but they didnt have any and are taking ages to get them in...any help appreciated thanks.

Hey man.

I work at Pauls, but i dont think i've been dealing with you re this :) Having said that, i know the issue with the 4" coax's is that the dealer himself is being a bit... stubborn shall we say with some of the stock, so we're just waiting for more to come available.

If your budget can stretch just a little bit more, you could look at some Rainbow Audio SLX-210 component speakers, handmade in Germany... we've started stocking some of their range since i moved to the company, and so far the feedback has been just as good as when i sold them at AudioApex. We've never had anything but positive feedback on them, which is rare, normally theres at least one or two people who have some grumbles with the product but with Rainbow, nothing :D Plus, we can actually supply you a set of these right now ;)

Check them out below or come by for more info, ask for Daniel :)

Hey thanks for that, those Rainbow's seem pretty cool...but just how much stretch in the budget would be necessary? By ages I only mean a week and a half so I'm just being impatient :) I'm asking price here because I won't be able to come in until the week after next...
Cheers.
