Who's up for a cruise?

Postby Dell'Orto » Sat Dec 03, 2005 2:39 pm

Im thinking now we've kindasortamaybe got some decent weather going, we ought to go for a cruise some place, maybe have a BBQ as well.
I know Otaki beach has those public bbq's you can use, which cost like 50c a go.

Who would be keen?

Does the cruise have to go anywhere? cause we could just go for a nice, big, realxing drive over Vinegar hill, stop at the lookout and have a break or something (someone bring a BBQ) then follow the road down untill it connects up to SH1 and then follow that back to Palmy. It's a good drive, with good views and is a great bit of road aswell.

Otherwise out over the Pahiatua track, accross the long straits (Balance road or whatever) then back over the saddle (stopping at windmills for photo's).

Any of that sound good?[/i]
