Where to go for paint

Hi guys,

just wondering where the best places are to get paint to spray my car with ... (properly not shit from supercheap etc)

who have you dealt with and who does the best paints ?

colour works, penrose.
they are on the corner of gt south road and church st.

usually give a discount if you buy the lot in one hit.

oh yeah thanks for that ill pop and see them along with any one elses suggestions,

is there any better Brands of paint that the other if so which are the better ones to use ?

I'd recommend Car Colors,
their in Albany on the Shore...

Same, car colours are usually pretty good.

There is a place on the concourse in henderson - forget the name of it but its hard to miss - they seemed quite good value when i went there.

hey sorry to hijack your thread but its the same/similar topic, i need my paint matched so i can get say 500mL of it...what sort of price am i looking at and who does excellent colour matching? thanks

Be very careful when colour matching and repainting as you may end up having to blend into surrounding areas. The number of coats etc all make a difference especially if the first spray was quite thin/transperant. Car Colours are pretty good although its usually better to leave it up to the person painting your car as they can tint to suit while spraying.

yeh i only want a little bit of it for touch up, not for respraying a particular panel..

I also use car colours quite a bit for repairs of various cars etc.
touch up can/pot will cost you $35-45 depending.
Cant believe im still a member here.
