More 98, now mobil will have it :)

Postby rolla_fxgt » Wed Jan 25, 2006 1:27 pm

Was just in at the mobil anzac ave the other day & was talking to the attendent chick when gettting my gas bottle filled up & i asked about if they were getting synergy 8000 (mobils 98 octane, or 97.5 to be exact) & she said it was supposed to be coming in in the next few days, so just a heads up since we all no mobil is a cleaner petrol than that bp crap.

Though from what she was saying its only gona be the bigger mobil stations like anzac ave, hillside road & portsmouth drive. Guess my complaining to mobil head office might of had some effect & got them to roll out 98 in the south island.
:D
Ending up with spare parts in assembling things since 1983

will be good to have a choice in where to go though.

I wonder if Mobil Mosgiel will get it??

but we all know that all the oil companies are completely seperate and competitive with one another.... Its just coincidence that they all put up there price 6c at the exact same time!!

just some handy information for anyone that dont no. Mobil gets there petrol from the same holding tanks that BP get's theres from down parry street. Some how i doubt it would be any cleaner then BP's. Shell and Caltex share tanks down Fraytt street. My dad used to drive tankers for BP then caltex.

In that case i will carry on filling up at BP Connect. It's a brand new station, so the holding tanks for that particular station would be in better shape.

That's my attempted reasoning for using BP over Mobil (mostly because i like BP though :)).
