nissan sentras ARE cool!

Postby Mr Revhead » Tue Jan 31, 2006 9:16 pm

well the one i drove monday was.....

as we sponser 2 cars in the TRS run by victory racing they were kind enough to put on a half day at ruapuna for us.
brendon hartley took us for laps in a race type r integra, then we were let loose in the sentra. one of the old sentra cup cars bilstein shocks, wilwood brakes and slicks. very cool and omg so much fun. we had the top section, the drag strip end. so had the best corners. hell fun riding with hartley when hes sliding the integra into pothole at 160 Twisted Evil

the sentra, while not the fastest thing in the world its a lot of fun, hits about 140-150 (no speedo) coming into pothole.

we did a few timed laps and i was only 2secs slower than hartley, after i nearly speared off at the hairpin coz the tyres were shagged...... sparks flying from the steel belts 8O thing is hartley did one warm up then one timed lap. i did 15 practice laps. thats why hes off to europe and im not

anyway. track is soo much fun. so now i have a goal for the mr2 Twisted Evil
