possibly, see if you can hear where its coming from the feel around the area to see if its leaking. In my experience, exhaust leaks sound like raw farting, quite easy to tell...

give it a few revs and listen out...

get some one to restrict the exhaust flow, ie foot or, hold a rag or one of mums good bath towels over tail pipe, and listen along the length of the system.

or if your in doubt go back to the place were it was done and tell them.

You can also use a piece of plastic tubing to narrow down where the noise is coming from. One end in your ear and when you find it, you'll definitely know about it. Same principle as stethoscope.

If you have a stock tip or muffler on your car and you have a leak, it will sound like a miniature sick big bore too :P

I have heard of this before, one of my mates from palmy has an AE101 20v and put some after market extractors onto it and it makes this strange whistling noise, there are no exhaust leaks of any kind in the system either??
